I have of late been busier than usual. Hence, I haven't been able to respond to the article entitled "Jude
A. Akubuilo
-- Rebuttal to Alleged Threat To
Ehirim," which was
published here at BNW. My article entitled “Oliver

While Mr. Eriri has remained silent since, Akubuilo has called and spoken to me, and we have met again in person. He urged that Eriri’s statement should be dismissed as a "peppersoup joint talk” between himself and Eriri. I informed Akubuilo that the discussion in which I received the threat was a serious one, and there were witnesses
who even intervened, some of them openly stating that what I wrote was the simple truth and it was about time to put the “Oliver de Coque” type of nonsensical
entertainment to a stop. Neither I nor any of the witnesses who heard the threat got the impression that Eriri was delivering
the stuff of a “peppersoup joint.” It was a direct threat issued in a direct manner. However, I was surprised to read the twist that Akubuilo gave to our discussion. According to Akubuilo: I met with Mr. Ehirim on Yes, Akubuilo and I met and we discussed the threat to my life.

I again reminded Akubuilo that there were eyewitnesses to my discussions with Eriri. However, Akubuilo was very disturbed by the
BNW Message Board postings about the threat, and he said he lost some clients as a result of the postings. He

But, since Eriri was now silent, I informed Akubuilo that I would contact the administrators of BNW and see what they could do about it.
I
have since learned that Akubuilo contacted the administrators of BNW himself and an arrangement was made for him to write a rebuttal
and have it published at BNW. Additionally, I was disappointed to read the following false statement by Akubuilo: I was at the venue from There were lots of parking spaces on the lot of the warehouse, and Akubuilo was on the
stage with his wife. I once again stand by what I wrote on that score. Finally, until Eriri refutes Akubuilo’s "peppersoup joint talk" / "beer parlor talk" theory, I have no plans to change the cordial manner in which I treat Akubuilo each time
we meet.
